About the event

“The Beauty of Tango and its History” is a unique music and dance performance that invites audiences on an artistic journey through time and across cultures, revealing Tango as a living and ever-evolving art form. Under the artistic direction of composer and accordion soloist Zoe Tiganouria, the performance travels from Argentina and Uruguay to retro-era Greece, connecting the timeless spirit of Tango with contemporary artistic expression.

Iconic works by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, Mariano Mores, Ángel Villoldo, and Gerardo Matos Rodríguez are brought to life alongside Greek tango influences. The production features distinguished singers, musicians, dancers, and choreographers, creating a rich and emotional stage experience.

Organized by “Δεσμοί Αλληλεγγύης,” a non-profit organization offering significant social support to vulnerable families across Attica, the event combines culture with social contribution and the proceeds will support individuals in need.

The event is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Agia Paraskevi.
