About the event

Anna Vasof’s work is universally accessible through its wit and mischief. Grounded in genuine experimentation with the core mechanisms of motion and time-based art, she goes straight to the heart of every question, starting from zero and reinventing fundamental premises through her own perspective. Using everyday objects, her works explore social paradoxes and invite us to see the familiar world in an unexpected way.

Anna Vasof will guide us through her creative process and screen excerpts of her work.

About the speaker

Anna Vasof is a time-based artist. She studied Architecture at the University of Thessaly in Greece (2010) and Transmedia Art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna (2014). In 2020, she completed her Ph.D. on a cinematographic technique she developed. Her films have circulated through festivals since 2004. Today she engineers devices and situations that trigger critical videos, actions, and installations.
