About the conference

Hellas Underwater Explorers proudly celebrates 30 years of dedication to autonomous diving, with a special focus on technical diving and underwater exploration. The event will offer a fascinating historical retrospective of the organization’s achievements and milestones throughout its three-decade journey.

The ACG Center of Excellence in Shipping, Logistics & Energy provides the intellectual, pedagogical, and outreach infrastructure necessary to position Greece as a leading innovator in these sectors, while the ACG Center of Excellence in Sustainability offers academic guidance and support to enhance the sustainability focus of academic programs and promote sustainability both on and off campus.

The conference will host distinguished speakers, scientists, and instructors, including Mr. Ahmed Gabr, Guinness World Record holder for the deepest open-circuit dive (332 meters), TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor Trainer, JJ-CCR Instructor, and Founder of Gabr Tek, a company dedicated to coral restoration.

In addition, the conference will honor individuals within the diving community who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of diving, supported social initiatives, and promoted Greek diving on the international stage.

The event will be held in Greek and English and will be free and open to the public.
