What You Will Study
The Minor in European and Global Affairs offers a foundational grounding in political science, international relations, and European studies, supplemented by electives that explore global history, migration, global markets, and the critique of international theory. You will begin with core courses such as Introduction to Political Science and Global Affairs, Introduction to International Relations, Business in the European Union, and International Political Economy & Global Markets. Then, you will choose two additional advanced courses from topics like globalization, migration, Cold War history, terrorism, or regional studies across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This minor is ideal for students who want to deepen their understanding of international dynamics—whether their interest lies in policy, diplomacy, international business, or global non-profits. It also complements majors that benefit from strong analytical, historical, and cross-cultural thinking.
