“A Sound Mind in a Sound Body”
Since its launch in April 2010 as ACG Fitness, the Deree Fitness Program has continuously evolved to meet the needs and interests of the ACG community. Inspired by the philosophy “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body,” the program promotes physical activity, health, and overall well-being. It offers access to athletic facilities, participation in sports and recreational programs, and a diverse range of group fitness classes, catering to different interests, fitness levels, and personal goals. Through a welcoming and supportive environment, the program encourages an active and balanced lifestyle while fostering a sense of community. Membership opportunities are also available to the broader community.
Access to ACG Athletic Facilities
Access to ACG athletic facilities, sports programs, and fitness classes is free for all active students of Deree (Undergraduate and Graduate Schools) and ALBA Graduate Business School, as well as ACG faculty and staff. All eligible individuals are registered as members of the Deree College Athletic Club (DCAC) at no charge.
An activated ACG ID card and valid medical certification are required for access.
Medical Certificate Requirements for Students
Students must submit the required medical certificates, available below, through the myACG portal, following the instructions in the Registration & ACG ID Card Activation section. The certificates must confirm that students are fit to exercise without restrictions and free from skin diseases.

Students examined by an internist or general practitioner may obtain both certifications from the same physician. Students examined by a cardiologist must also obtain certification regarding skin diseases from a dermatologist.
Students may consult physicians of their choice or select one from the list of suggested physicians.
Important Information
- Medical certificates signed more than three months before the submission date will not be accepted.
- Medical certificates issued in a student’s country of origin will not be accepted. Certificates must be issued by physicians practicing in Greece.
