Dr. Nikolaos Stoupos is a Lecturer at Deree – American College of Greece and currently teaches courses in Finance. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Econometrics (2018) from the University of Macedonia, Greece. In 2010, he successfully completed his postgraduate studies with Merit, in the University of Portsmouth, UK by obtaining a M.Sc. in Business Economics, Finance and Banking. Also, he holds a Hons B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macedonia, Greece. He has participated in research projects of the EU. He has several publications in international academic journals, such as the Research in International Business and Finance (2*), Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance (2*), International Review of Applied Economics (1*), International Economic Journal (1*) and Acta Oeconomica (1*). His research interests are related to European Finance, Exchange Rates, Euro Area, Energy Economics and Financial Econometrics.
