On October 2-3, 2025, Dr. Stella Apostolaki, Assistant Professor, Department of Science and Mathematics – Deree, and Executive Director of the Center of Excellence in Sustainability, The American College of Greece (ACG), participated in the 11th World Sustainability Forum (WSF) which aims to be a platform for researchers to present and engage with research-relevant stakeholders on questions, issues and challenges regarding sustainability.
In the session on climate change and socio-ecological systems, Dr. Apostolaki delivered an engaging presentation based on her and Dr. Paraskevi Papadopoulou’s (professor, Department of Science and Mathematics – Deree) work. The paper presented the processes followed and the outcomes of the Erasmus+ project SDG4U, which aimed to transform universities into living laboratories to support the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event is connected to and promotes the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
