Dr. Annie Triantafillou holds a B.A. in Economics from Deree – The American College of Greece, an M.A. (Econ) and a Ph.D. in Economics, both from the University of Manchester, UK. Since joining ACG in 1993, Dr. Triantafillou has taught extensively both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has served as Dean of the Deree School of Business and Economics for ten years (2014-24) and as Interim Executive Dean for Deree between July 2021 and September 2022. She publishes in the areas of applied economics and finance and served as President of the European Financial Management Association (EFMA) for 2018 and 2026. Dr. Triantafillou made significant contributions to numerous accreditation and validation events for the institution and its programs, and played a key role in establishing the ACG Simulated Trading Room. As Associate Vice President for Accreditation, Quality and Academic Effectiveness, Dr. Triantafillou is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of academic programs through quality assessment and review processes.
