About the event
As part of the “EU Back to School” initiative—an outreach program that gives EU employees the opportunity to return to their school or university to engage with students—, Deree alumna Roy Tzivra (Class of 2017) will return to campus to talk about the European Union, share personal insights from her work experience in EU institutions, and, in a personal capacity, discuss a range of EU-related topics.
In her presentation, Ms. Tzivra will explore three key questions:
• Why knowledge about the EU matters
• Who the main institutional players are
• What competencies the Union holds
She will also share her professional experience in the field of Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection, offer an overview of working and living abroad, and provide practical advice for Deree students interested in pursuing careers within the EU.
