About the program

The Ocean Stewards Program is a multi-year partnership between The American College of Greece, the Chatzigakis Foundation and MEPP Environmental, aiming to create tangible environmental and social impact through students, families, citizens, and academics for the Greek seas.

Let us join forces in protecting our marine environment in an initiative that goes beyond collecting trash from the shore, but includes underwater cleaning by a team of certified scuba divers, recycling and scientific data collection, with the support of the Hellenic Center for Marine Research (ELKETHE).

Wear comfortable clothes, bring your hat, a water bottle, and your best attitude! We’ll provide all the necessary equipment (gloves, bags, etc.).
