Deree Athletics is proud to announce that 78 Deree student-athletes, staff, and coaches will represent The American College of Greece at the 10th World Inter Universities Championships, taking place in Barcelona, Spain, November 12–16, 2025.
This major international university sports event brings together 5,000 student-athletes from 108 universities, representing over 30 nations and four continents. The Championships celebrate athletic excellence, intercultural understanding, and international friendship through sport.
Deree will compete with six teams in total:
- Men’s and Women’s Basketball
- Men’s and Women’s Volleyball
- Men’s Soccer
- Cheerleading
Our student-athletes will proudly carry the Deree spirit to Barcelona, showcasing not only their skills and competitiveness but also their commitment to teamwork, respect, and fair play.
Participation in the World Inter Universities Championships reflects Deree’s strong dedication to providing transformative educational experiences – on and off the field – fostering global citizenship, personal growth, and community engagement through sport.
