Svetoslav Danchev teaches intermediate microeconomics at Deree – The American College of Greece and serves as the Head of Microeconomic Analysis and Policy at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE). At IOBE, he conducts research on the economic impact of fiscal policies, structural reforms, economic activities, and investment projects, covering a wide range of sectors and topics, including green transition, energy, manufacturing, transport, vocational education and training, social mobility, and civil society. His previous experience includes working as a senior analyst at Kantor Management Consultants and as a credit administrator at Bulgarian Post Bank (Eurobank Group). He has co-authored academic publications in peer-reviewed journals such as Fiscal Studies, Journal of Industry, Competition and Trade, CESifo Economic Studies, European Journal for the History of Economic Thought, Energy Policy and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews. He is a regular reviewer for Social Indicators Research. He volunteers as the treasurer of ActionAid Hellas and participates in the organisation’s governing bodies and committees.
