Dr. Nikolaos Kaimenakis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance, holding a PhD in Accounting, an MBA and a Ptychion in Business Administration. With extensive professional experience, prior to joining Deree as a full-time faculty member, he served as a Director in Alpha Real Estate Services S.A., a subsidiary of Alpha Bank S.A. and was responsible for handling the operational aspects of the Bank’s diverse real estate portfolio. He has also held senior managerial positions in private equity, specializing in real estate asset/property management, shopping center repositioning projects, and large-scale property-related transactions in the SEE region.

Dr. Kaimenakis has published papers in the areas of public sector accounting reforms and intellectual capital. His research interests include management & accounting reforms, the valuation of intangible assets and the use of accounting information.
