Dr Margarita Sarri is a graduate of Panteion University where she received a BSc in psychology. She earned a PhD in neuropsychology from University College London, as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London. Dr Sarri completed Post-Doctoral Fellowships in neuropsychology at University College London and later Cambridge University with a specialty in spatial neglect and spatial awareness. Her research has been supported by the Wellcome Trust and the Medical Research Council (UK). She has gained extensive clinical experience at hospitals and mental health clinics in London, UK, and taught for several London-based academic institutions. She is currently a scientific collaborator of the 1st Psychiatric Clinic of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens at Eginition Hospital and also works in private practice as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. She joined the Deree psychology faculty in September 2020. Her current specialty and interests include personality disorders and developmental trauma.
