Eleftheria is a healthcare strategist, a gerontologist, and a PhD candidate in Nursing at the University of Patras.

With frontline experience in nonprofit nursing homes and formal training in LTCs in Greece’s and Switzerland’s (Geriatrische Klinik St. Gallen) healthcare management and quality systems, she operates a sole proprietorship providing consulting, research, and training services in the healthcare sector, specializing in geriatrics, strategic development, quality of care, and the integration of ESG principles in the daily operations of for-profit, philanthropic, and public long-term care (LTC) facilities for senior citizens and the chronically ill.

She has been a Research Fellow in the COST ACTION CA21122-PROmoting GeRiAtric Medicine in countries where it is still emerging and a Research Fellow at HFRI and the award-winning ReAct research team of AUEB.

She is also a certified Internal Auditor for ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), as well as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (Quality Management).
