Dr. Angelos Doukas has been a faculty member in the Marketing Department at the American College of Greece since the Fall 2014 semester. With over 9 years of experience as an Adjunct and then Associate Professor at the College and over 15 years of teaching experience throughout my academic career, my aim is always to create a positive and engaging learning environment for the students. Additionally, as a marketing professional, I have worked for a number of companies in Athens, Greece. Subsequently, in 2021, I launched my own boutique branding consultancy, providing creative and effective brand management solutions for our clients. Furthermore, I am also collaborating with a number of colleagues at the College on various marketing-based research projects, including a working paper which deals with the branding of the Byzantine Empire and the ways in which Greek firms may strategically utilize/leverage the Byzantine identity as a means of bolstering overall brand equity.
