Peter Korovessis is an information technology professional with more than 30 years of combined administrative and teaching experience in higher education. With a research focus on Information Security, his journey has also been defined by a commitment to fortifying the digital landscapes of educational institutions. Demonstrated success in managing Networking, Virtualization, Quality Assurance, Information Security and Product Development projects. His teaching involves Information Systems, Networking and Information Security. Has previously served as Executive Director of Information Resources Management for almost 17 years, where he successfully led enterprise-scale IT initiatives. Has proven record of strategic planning, systems implementation, and team leadership, having guided cross-functional teams to deploy and optimize Learning Management Systems, Student Information Systems, and enterprise IT solutions. Committed to advancing the field of cybersecurity and IT governance while preparing the next generation of professionals to integrate technical expertise with strategic management.
