Athanasios Triantafyllidis

Athanasios A. Triantafyllidis is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the School of Business and Economics, Deree College. He has been affiliated with the Management Information Systems Department at Deree in both part-time and full-time capacities since 1992. During his tenure as a part-time faculty member, Dr. Triantafyllidis worked as a freelance consultant, specializing in IT training and Information Systems Analysis, serving various companies in business analysis and the banking sector. Between 1998 and 2004, he was also actively engaged in eCommerce entrepreneurship, founding and managing an early Greek click-and-mortar and pure-play business. In 2004, he transitioned to a full-time faculty position within the MIS Department, where he now teaches a range of courses, including Introduction to Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Electronic Commerce, and Analysis and Design of Information Systems. His current research interests focus on Blended and Mobile Learning, as well as Banking and Financial Information Systems.
