Exploring contemporary digital product design through systemic, cross-platform frameworks shaping today’s product ecosystems. Applying systems thinking to understand interfaces, platforms, and services within interconnected environments, this course builds on UX foundations to develop the visual and graphic design systems that shape the aesthetic, identity, and coherence of digital products. It investigates advanced interface design methods, including interaction patterns, design systems, and multimodal user journeys, through a graphic design-led and research-driven practice. Maintaining a user-centered perspective, students examine behavioral patterns, evolving digital behaviors, and the designer’s shifting role within interdisciplinary environments, while integrating AI-assisted tools into contemporary workflows to create coherent, adaptable digital experiences across products, platforms, and services.
