A hands-on experience on stock portfolio management. Students create a stock portfolio, a real case (with actual funds) equity portfolio (stocks selected from S&P 500 index). The students, under the guidance of the module leader of the course, are expected to follow a unique approach based on fundamental analysis (selected by the students and ratified by the Module Leader) for their asset allocation process. Upon creation, students monitor the selected portfolio, following an active management strategy).
This course is offered over two consecutive semesters, namely Fall and Spring only. Students receive an internal unofficial incomplete mark (NR=Non Report) at the end of the first (Fall) semester. The final official mark will be given upon the completion of the course at the end of the second (Spring) semester.
