Deree College Ambassadors: Truly international?
October 8 , 2007-Oliver Bailey

New enrollment in the Deree College Ambassadors has added to the Organization's diversity in terms of nationality and ethnicity.

The Deree College Ambassadors are a 12 year old Organization that has been representing the College effectively and efficiently throughout these past years. There has been little change in the number of international students attending Deree College and the Junior College but there has been an increase in the diversity of international students in terms of nationality.

In the beginning the DCA comprised almost entirely Greek students, but the organization adapted to the changes of the ACG student population. The Deree College Ambassadors now comprise in large part international students and other students with family ties and relations with other countries.

The Ambassador spirit is to recognize and celebrate the differences between people of different ethnicities, religions and color. The DCA believe that through this multicultural group of students the organization can grow with new ideas and a brand new personality, an international personality.

The Deree College Ambassadors comprise 29 Deree and Junior College students, of which 41% are International students, 17% are Half-Greek students and 41% Greek students.
