Iraklis Perdikidis

Iraklis Perdikidis graduated from Deree with a Bachelor of Science in Management in 2013. During his studies, he also worked at Mathios Refractories SA in the Sales Department, and later in the role of Regional Sales Director, and then as a Focus Group Analyst at TNT.

After graduation, Iraklis continued his studies with an MSc in Maritime Operations at Liverpool John Moores University. Upon his return to Greece, the alumnus worked as HR Officer at the HR Department of the 414th Army Special Diseases Hospital, while fulfilling his military obligations. The Deree graduate then worked at Casa Tina Co in the position of Sales Director for a year, before moving to essDOCS, a leading software company with a global reach, spanning over 73 countries. After a year in the role of Network Development Assistant, Iraklis recently received a promotion to Customer Success Manager at essDOCS, in August.

 

George A. Platsakis

Graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior, George A. Platsakis went on to the University of Glamorgan earning an MSc in Management of Strategic Human Resources.

Beginning his career in Ster Cinemas, George held several positions there, from Administration Assistant all the way to Head of Operations for Greece, before moving on to the position of Deputy HR Director at Audiovisual Group of Companies, and later Operations Manager Greece at Cineplexx International.

Taking a step back from the entertainment industry, this August, the Deree graduate began working for the Catholic Relief Services as Head of Operations for Greece, helping the non-profit organization fulfill its mission to “promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies.”

In his free time, George enjoys and is licensed in: offshore sailing, speed boat driving, open water diving, and free diving!

 

Renee Tsirlis

Renee Zenovia Tsirlis graduated from Deree in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. During her studies, Renee volunteered at a morning show on ANT1 Radio, and later worked at Eleftheros Typos as executive assistant to the chief editor of the international news department.

Embarking on a maritime career, in 2014 Renee began an MSc in Maritime Studies at the London Metropolitan University at BCA, graduating in 2016. During her studies, the alumna has worked as an administrative assistant at Prime Petroleum Services Inc., and later at SteelShips LLC / Dianik Ship Management LLC as an administrator. Remaining at the same company, Renee soon moved on to the Operations Department where she handled an array of responsibilities including insurance claims, the appointment of agents, and the daily communication with vessels.

The D ‘11 graduate has now moved on to work at Mediterranean Car Carriers Line S.A, in the position of Operator.
