George Psallidas (PIERCE 00/DEREE ’09) has been promoted to Key Account Manager & Senior Research Manager at JustExpand, after working for a year as Junior Research Analyst and Junior Account Manager.

Mr. Psallidas also works in the Extreme Sports Social Network of Swag N Shifty, and as Presales Manager at arx.net. He has also worked as an Event Manager at Zazoo Event Rentals.

Mr. Psallidas graduated from PIERCE in 2000, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from DEREE in 2009, followed by his Master of Arts degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from La Salle University in 2012.


Stergios Douvetzemis (PIERCE ’01) is now Honorary Clinical Fellow at the Breast Surgery Unit of Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London, on leave from his work as a Research Fellow at the Department of Anatomy and Surgical Anatomy of the Medical School of the University of Athens, where he has been for the past three years.

Mr Douvetzemis also holds the post of Surgical Resident at the Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens (for nearly five years), and prior to that served in the same capacity at the General Hospital of Sparta for a year, and also at the Naval Hospital of Athens for six months.

A PIERCE 2001 graduate, Mr Douvetzemis also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (2007), where he is also a PhD candidate this year in the Department of Anatomy.


Chris Papandropoulos (DEREE ’02) has been promoted to Marketing Communications Director at CloudBiz, working his way up from a number of earlier positions at the company: Product Manager, PMO Manager and Project Manager.

His rich career has also included cofounding Hopping.gr where he was Brand Development Manager for the website that dealt in e-commerce among other services.

Mr Papandropoulos has also worked as Project Manager for e-diagnosis, delivering a web application for the Greek Government, and as a Business Analyst for Intrasoft, Eurobank and OTENET – where he was also Liaison. He has also held the post of Web Developer for Communique360, a marketing agency based in London, worked as a Data Analyst Specialist at Kapa Research in Greece, as a Senior Developer on Open Source Technologies posts with Forthnet, and in CIS positions with Internet Hellas, NL (JN Leousis) and United Hellas SA. He has also worked as a core member of the development team and as Liaison/representative for both the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the Athens 2004 Paralympics Games.

Mr Papandropoulos earned his BSc with Honors in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems from DEREE in 2002.
