Welcome to the October issue of Touch Base, your official alumni newsletter that helps you stay in touch with old classmates, faculty, and staff and stay abreast of developments at your alma mater, The American College of Greece.

There is much to look forward to in this issue. We have a rundown of the Alumni Achievement Awards, held in September, where ACG honored its outstanding alumni who are making headlines for their achievements and contribution to society in every corner of the globe.

We’d like to thank our alumni, who helped spread the word to create an unforgettable celebratory evening at the Irene Bailey Open Theater, and look forward to celebrating the successes of our alumni at every opportunity. We’d also like to thank all those who joined us on the memorable evening, as well as the Benefactors of the Awards, whose invaluable support made all the difference.

Also in this issue, read ACG President Dr David G. Horner’s interview with To VIMA Sunday newspaper, where he discusses not just record enrollment and financial aid, but also reflects on ACG’s gifted alumni around the world.

Read on to find out which alumni came to campus to share their stories  – inspiring prospective students.

And, as always, check out which alumni are on the move, changing jobs or/and companies, in our regular Rising Star section.

We also welcome our new PIERCE alumni, who graduated, in July, and look forward to our newest alumni, from ALBA, who will be graduating in October.

Don’t miss our preview of the PIERCE Class of 2004 ten-year reunion, which will be held in December.

We would also like to inform you that the DEREE ‘02-‘03-‘04 October Reunion has been cancelled at this time, and will be rescheduled in the spring.

Finally, don’t forget to share your news with us, both by updating your profile here and by sending us an email at [email protected], so that we can feature your news in Touch Base and share it with fellow alumni.
