In an exciting, nail-biting game, the DEREE men’s basketball team lost 69-71 to an ALL STAR team consisting of legendary Greek national team basketball players on November 27 at DEREE – The American College of Greece’s gym.
The charity basketball game took place on the occasion of Thanksgiving and in support of the Social Kitchen (“Koinoniko Mageireio”) of the Aghia Paraskevi municipality – organized by ACG’s Office of Athletics.
The rosters of the two teams that took place in the cliffhanger game were:
DEREE: Leonidas Athanasiadis, Alexis Anagnostou, Costas Papageorgopoulos, Marios Skiathitis, Petros Plestis, Giannis Priftis, Giorgos Kyriazopoulos, Adam Linardatos, Loukas Peloidis, Manos Apostolakos,Dimitrios Filippakos, Xenophon Manesis, Coach Costas Markonis.
