Simon Leader has been a member of the Deree faculty since 2003. He has over 20 years teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He was a Research Associate at CMCR at the University of Leicester from 1995-98. He was the recipient of the 1999 Stanley Burton scholarship and completed his PhD on The Holocaust and the British Regional Press 1939-1945. His current teaching includes Communication Theories, Research Methods and the Communication Seminar. His research interests include food and television and the media and history. Dr. Leader has served ACG as a member of the Committee for Academic Standards and Practices (CASP) and the Teaching and Learning Committee (TLC).
