About the Event
This event offers students the opportunity to discuss with two expert observers on the US elections their own concerns relevant to the upcoming elections and to explore potential impacts of the outcomes for a number of socio-political issues.

About the speakers
The American College of Greece
Dr. Mary Cardaras is the Founder + Director of the Demos Center at Deree, The American College of Greece. She is a journalist and documentary filmmaker who earned her PhD in Public and International Affairs from Northeastern University in Boston. She has taught documentary filmmaking, media literacy courses, and media and government. She has been a lifelong student of the American presidency.

Thanos Davelis is the Director of Public Affairs at the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC) and the host of The Greek Current, a daily podcast produced by HALC in partnership with Kathimerini’s English Edition that focuses on Greece, Cyprus and the broader region.
