Orietta Exarchou

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Dean Emerita and 25 Year Associate Member, Orietta Exarchou.

Orietta served ACG with devotion, for 39 years. She joined The American College of Greece, as Supervisor and Professor, School of Social Work on September 1, 1961. As of September 1, 1974 when the School of Social Work terminated its operations, she was appointed Dean of Students at ACG and as of December 1, 1997 she was named Counselor and Ombudsman. She offered her services to the American College of Greece until December 31, 2000.

Angeliki Saranti – Moustaka

It is with great sadness that we inform you that our Pierce Alumna, Angeliki Saranti- Moustaka passed, on October 8, 2017. She graduated from Pierce in 1952 while it was still at Hellinikon.

Angela Kokkola

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Angela Kokkola, at the age of 85. Ms. Kokkola graduated from Pierce in 1950.

Having worked at the United Nations, the Hellenic Parliament and the International Social Service, she became personal assistant to Andreas Papandreou in 1964. From 1981 to 1989 she ran the private office of the Prime minster and was in charge of his secretariat.

Kleopatra-Olga Grammatikou

We are saddened to inform you that our dear Kleopatra-Olga Grammatikou has passed.

Ms. Grammatikou was a Pierce and Deree graduate, of 1978 and 1985 respectively.
