Alexandra Skaraki

Alexandra Skaraki graduated from Deree – The American College of Greece in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis on Journalism, and a minor degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French).

During her time at Deree, Alexandra wrote articles for the Deree newspaper and several websites, and was also an active member of the Orientation Leaders team.  As soon as she graduated, she started working at the Athens News Agency as an intern, as well as at Kathimerini’s English Edition and Foreign Desk.

She later worked as Marketing Assistant at Deloitte Greece, and continued her career in the role of researcher for the pilot episode of a documentary on the history and culture of Greek cities and islands.

Alexandra has also worked as Event Coordinator for the popular exhibition GR80s. Greece in the Eighties at Technopolis, and has volunteered extensively at TEDx conferences in Athens.

Following her most recent move, Alexandra now holds the position of News Editor at HuffPost Greece, she founded the blog Prosopografia, and she also hosts a weekly radio show on Amagi, every Friday at 22:00, playing soul/funk and jazz music!
