Christina Georgiou
Christina graduated from Pierce in 2008, where she always made time for several extracurricular activities including the Forensics Speaking & Debating Club, and the choir. She was also a school ambassador, and editor in chief of the school magazine.
After finishing her school studies, Christina earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Engineering (MEng) from the University of Cambridge, while interning at SIEMENS, and at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos.” She recently completed her PhD in Robotics from the University of Sheffield, during which time she worked as an Associate Tutor. The Pierce alumna also received funding for her research from the Marie Curie Fellowship at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada.
Christina now works at PA Consulting Group, a global expert in many sectors such as energy and utilities, financial services, health, life sciences, consumer and manufacturing, government, defense and security, transport and logistics. As Consultant Analyst, the Pierce graduate is working on Technology Innovation, focusing on software and algorithm development.
Christos Koukios
Christos Koukios graduated from Deree in ’99 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business, which he followed with an MBA from the University of Louisville-Kentucky. During his studies, he was an active member of the ACG community, as a member of the Student Council of Deree.
He has extensive experience in HR after a series of management, consultant, and executive positions in global IT companies and fast moving environments such as Info Quest Group, Velti, Mellon Technologies, and First Data International.
Since 2015, Christos has been working at lastminute.com group, a major OTAs organization and a European leader in the online travel and leisure industry where he recently received a promotion landing him the role of Chief People Officer.
Erie Tsaliki
Erie Tsaliki graduated from Deree with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management in 1996, and continued her studies at Kingston University gaining an MBA with a specialization in Human Resources Management.
Erie is a certified HR professional with extensive experience in the wholesale and retail industries who began her career at Bitros Holdings S.A. and soon after moved on to Amvis Hellas S.A., where she worked for over 15 years. The Deree graduate also worked as HR and Payroll Manager at the MARK AaLEN outlet stores, before her recent move to VICTUS Networks in the position of HR Rewards & Recognition Professional.
