The Alba Oscars
Alba’s business unusual spirit shined bright on March 18, the night of The Alba Oscars! Students, faculty, staff, and friends, walked down the red carpet in celebration of the creativity shown by the MBA students during their Creativity and Innovation course.
The course recently received the AMBA Innovation Award, and a beautiful ceremony did it justice. The night had a “Mad Men” theme, adding a 60s vibe to the awards night presented by Dr. Mainemelis – who taught the class – and Maria Doukaki, Marketing and Communications Director.
Alba Dean Travlos, and ACG President Horner and his wife Dr. S. Sue Horner were there to honor the MBA students and their efforts. To keep the celebrations going, a party with 60s music followed with a wonderful cheese and wine buffet!

Tourism Awards
For a second consecutive year, the MSc in Tourism Management won the silver award at the Tourism Awards 2016 category “Education and connection to the Tourism Industry” for the strategic partnership with Costa Navarino.
Dr. Evangelia Baralou, Academic Director of the Program, and Mr. Romilos Lolos, Program Coordinator received the award, cheered on by their students, in the true Alba business unusual spirit!
