DEREE alumna Alexandra Kalogianni (‘93), founder & CEO of Social Media Zest, and co-founder of fooq, alongside Angelo Labrou, co-founder and CEO of fooq, together presented “Meet. Love. Sell: The 3 Pillars of Success in Social Media Marketing,” a DEREE Graduate Master Class held on campus May 18.
This was the second presentation of social media marketing tips and knowhow the two have undertaken at DEREE, after delivering a similar Graduate Master Class last year, and by all accounts will be coming back by popular demand.
Students, faculty, bloggers, business executives and entrepreneurs came to learn how to attract business through social media, especially through Facebook ads for their target audience, other content strategy, plus the ideal timing of “the sell.”
A Q & A followed, where participants’ specific queries were answered, such as how to increase visits to blogs and how to boost awareness of charitable organizations’ work, among many others.
