On Friday, February 6, staff and faculty of The American College of Greece gathered at the Student Lounge Center for the annual Vasiliopita Cutting event (New Year’s cake cutting), during which the Service Recognition awards honored employees who have served the mission and vision of ACG with dedication for 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years.

ACG President Dr David G. Horner welcomed all to the event and focused on ACG employees’ collective accomplishments, saying that “everywhere you look you see achievement living out of mission,” adding that ACG can compete with any educational institution in the US, since it delivers value in so many ways. Dr Horner closed his remarks with the wish for the New Year to bring even more successes to each and everyone associated with ACG.

Vice President of Human Resources and Campus Facilities Ms Iliana Lazana took the stand to thank ACG employees for dedicating their life work to ACG and to announce the Service Recognition Awards, honoring more than 50 ACG staff and faculty members for their service to The American College of Greece and to society.

Right after the awarding, the celebration took off in full swing, with… swing dancing on the floor and delicious bites for the guests!
