Dorit Meir (PIERCE ’80) is now General Manager and CEO of Coins Club Greece, which she founded. Ms Meir previously worked as Commercial Manager at Militos Editions-Greekbooks and for 25 years as Sales and Marketing Manager at Collections Helleniques SA. She has published her first book, in 2009, entitled Bead by Bead, A journey of the soul in the sounds of color and earth, in English and Greek.

Ms Meir is a co-founding member of MUSEUMMASTERS.GR with Elisabeth Chryssanthidou – (DEREE ‘86) . She also worked as a Web Consultant for FE-MAIL.GR.

Ms Meir graduated from PIERCE-ACG in 1980. She then studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business, earning her BA in Economics in 1984, followed by an MA in Communication and Media Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, where she also worked as a Research Manager for over two years. She also holds an MBA from the Sussex College of Technology.

Ms Meir is married to Daniel Esdras and has two sons: Abraham (PIERCE ’09), now a TEI Athens and DEREE student, and Simon (PIERCE ’12), now studying at the Athens University of Economics and Business.

 


Eva Papadopoulou (DEREE ‘00) is now Improvement & Development Manager in Counseling Service at Westminster Mind in London, where she also works as Team Leader – Senior Practitioner.

Ms Papadopoulou has also worked as a private coach and counselor with her own practice in Surrey and as Deputy Manager & Fundraiser at Community Housing & Therapy in London. Previously, she was also Senior Care Coordinator with CANDI NHS Trust in London for seven years up till 2011, but has also worked in media – as a freelance writer and photographer and as a TV production assistant – as well as, as a PR Officer at EMI Greece. She has also worked as English teacher in China and India (as a volunteer).

Ms Papadopoulou earned her BA in Psychology from DEREE-ACG in 2000, and earned her Master of Science degree in Art Psychotherapy at College of New Rochelle in 2003. She earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy at UEL in 2014.

 


 

Iris Malama (PIERCE ’05, DEREE ’11) is now Co-Founder & Marketing Director at Rho Foods.

Previously, Ms Malama has worked for the Athens Biennale in Exhibition Development & Communication, and has also interned at ICI Independent Curators International, planning and executing exhibition events for New York City artists and dealing with ICI social media. She has also worked at The American College of Greece’s Art Gallery as a Student Assistant while studying at DEREE-ACG.

She graduated from PIERCE-ACG in 2005 and from DEREE-ACG with a BSc in Marketing in 2011, where she was also active as a Photography Club instructor and played in the volleyball team. Ms Malama also earned her BA in Photography from AKTO Art n’ Design in 2010.

 


Christina Pomoni (DEREE ’08) is now a freelance writer with NewsBTC. She is a crypto blogger and a seasoned finance writer for private clients with specialty in personal finance, investing and banking.

Previously, Ms Pomoni has worked as a Finance Writer and Channel Manager at Helium Inc and as an investment and insurance advisor at ING Greece, among other positions.

Ms Pomoni has published her first novel Siopi San Orkos (loosely translated as Silence Like A Vow) (Minoas Publications).

Christina Pomoni earned her MBA from DEREE in 2008.
