DEREE concluded its successful tour of four regional Greek cities with a visit to Corfu on May 11, where ACG President Dr. David G. Horner, Dr. Dimitrios Andreou, the College’s vice president of administration and enrollment, and a number of alumni, students, and DEREE executives presented the College’s programs and unique opportunities for students.

Previously, DEREE executives visited Volos (January 26), Halkida (March 9), and Heraklion (April 6). The centerpiece of each visit was a presentation of the College and its programs to prospective students, parents, teachers, career advisors and local officials. The presentations were followed by visits to local state and private high schools.

Besides learning about studies at DEREE, attendees also learned about new programs that benefit students, like the International Internship and Scholarships Program, DEREE’s Study Abroad affiliations, Parallel Studies at DEREE and a public university, as well as the generous scholarships and financial aid DEREE offers to qualifying students.

DEREE alumni, as well as students currently attending DEREE, shared their personal experiences and offered advice to future students on how to make the most of their studies.
