Alumnus Panos Karan brings Fukushima musicians for London performance

Concert pianist and founder of Keys of Change Panos Karan (PIERCE ’00), is once again making the news, this time bringing young Fukushima musicians – survivors of the 2011 tsunami and nuclear accident – to perform at the Southbank Centre in London on April 2nd.

Alum Dimitris Politis meets scholarship recipients

Bike-A-Thon athlete Dimitris Politis (DEREE ’90), who helped raise over $20,000 (€15,000) for eight student scholarships (four at DEREE and four at PIERCE) cycling 800 kilometers in April last year, met with the scholarship recipients and members of the ACG community during a special event last month.

ACGs Eva Simatou wins UNESCO prize, place at RADA

Congratulations are in order for Eva Simatou (PIERCE ‘97), an actress, DEREE Theatre Arts instructor and PIERCE acting coach, who was selected out of 2,000 candidates (14 places) for a Contemporary Drama course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) over the summer.
