Syllabus

Syllabus is an outline and summary of topics to be covered in a course. It can contain all kind of information about the course, such as the contact information of the instructor, class meeting dates,assignments and more.

To add a Syllabus:

  • Select a course area (Make sure Edit Mode is ON)
  • In the Build Content tab, select Syllabus.
  • Type a name for the Syllabus.
  • Choose Create New Syllabus if you want to create a new Syllabus or
  • Choose Use Existing File to uploaded a Syllabus file.
  • Click Submit.

Create a New Syllabus with Syllabus Builder:

  • In the first section of the Syllabus you can find three text boxes with their corresponding titles(Description, Learning Objectives, and Required Materials). You can change the titles if you want and you can choose whether to include content in the description areas or not.
  • Select a design for the Syllabus . There are six choices available that affect the font, borders and colors of the Syllabus that you can changes to your liking.
  • Choose how many lesson shell to build. (Add to the Syllabus)
  • Click Submit.
  • If you selected to create lesson shell, after pressing Submit, you will be redirected to a new page that lets you add,edit and remove lessons.
