Create Learning Module
A Learning Module is a set of content that includes a structured path for progressing through the items.
To create a Learning Module in a Content area:
- Open a Content Area i.e. Module Leader Reports
- Roll over the Build Content button
- Click Learning Module.
- Fill in the Name field and select the color you want that Name to appear.
- You can add a description about the Learning Module using the Text editor (VTBE).
- In the Learning Module Options you can select Yes in the Enforce Sequential
Viewing of the Learning Module? option to present the material to the students in a specific order.
Click Yes to the Open in new window option to open the Learning Module in a new window. - Select the Standard Options that you want.
- In the Table of contents select Yes if you you want to show the users a structured view of the Learning Module
- Click Submit.
Standard Options | Description |
---|---|
Permit users to view the content item | Select Yes to make the content available to users. If No is selected this content is unavailable. |
Track number of views | Select Yes to turn on Tracking Reports. This generates usage reports for the item. |
Select date and time restrictions | Select the range of date that this item will appear. Select the Display After check box for the item to appear after a specific date. If this option is checked, select the corresponding date and time. Select the Display Until check box for the item to appear until a specific date. If the option is checked, select the corresponding date and time. |
Add Content to the Learning Module
- Use the four tabs in order to add content. (Build Content,Assessment, Tools, or Publisher Content)
- Once you add the content in the Learning module, the content will appear below.
- The student of the course can freely navigate through the content of the Learning Module.
