Gymnasium and Lyceum

Pierce College - Admissions - Gymnasium and Lyceum

Procedure for entry

Into the first grade of the Gymnasium

Parents or guardians of prospective students for the first grade of the Gymnasium who come from public or private Greek primary schools, or other equivalent schools from abroad, are required to submit an application for participation in the selection procedure, according to the dates listed in the regulations, but no later than April 30. The order of submission of the application does not constitute priority for registration.

Into the second and third grades of the Gymnasium and the first and second grade of the Lyceum

The Administration of the College selects from among prospective students for the Gymnasium those who, in its judgment, demonstrate an ability and willingness to obtain maximum profit from their studies at the College. The Administration of the College determines the criteria and terms of registration in accordance with this line of reasoning. In case of vacancies, students from other gymnasiums and lyceums may be accepted upon application by their parent or guardian, provided they meet the requirements of the College. Students registered for the first time in the second and third grades of the Gymnasium and in the first and second grade of the Lyceum must come from a Greek gymnasium, perform satisfactorily, and exhibit excellent conduct.
