“The Shadow War: Espionage in Occupied Greece, 1941-1944” – A lecture by Dr André Gerolymatos

In an era of continuous changes in the political scenery, shedding light on unknown aspects of history is of great importance, in order to understand the present and shape the future. In this context, the Eleftherios Venizelos Chair of The American College of Greece is honored to present a lecture by Dr André Gerolymatos, Director of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Centre for Hellenic Studies, Professor of History and Holder of the Hellenic Canadian Congress of B.C. Chair of Hellenic Studies at Simon Fraser University.

Dr Gerolymatos will discuss the shadowy war of espionage in occupied Greece and its role in enhancing resistance against the Axis totalitarian rule.
