Dr. Pelios has been a member of the Department of Psychology since 2007. She has taught introductory courses in psychology, and Learning and Cognition; and graduate courses such as Developmental and Learning Disabilities, and Program Development and Evaluation. Her current teaching involves teaching Psychology as a Natural and as a Social Science; and Theories of learning and human development and Behavior Management and Applied Behavior Analysis. Furthermore, she serves as thesis advisor and on-site practicum supervisor.

Her research and clinical interests include intensive behavioral intervention for children and youth with autism and other learning and developmental disabilities, as well as staff and parent training.
