Evy Sakellariou

Evy Sakellariou has taught marketing courses at both the graduate and undergraduate level. She currently teaches the Principles of Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications capstone modules. Her areas of academic interest are new product development and its front-end action research and applied ethnography. She has published and presented her academic work at international academic conferences such as the European Marketing Academy Conference in Portugal.

Dr Sakellariou has multi-industry, local and international, marketing experience at Unilever, one of the Top 400 companies listed in Fortune Magazine. She served as a member of the Leadership Team of Unilever Greece and held senior marketing and innovation positions across the home care, personal care, frozen foods and ice-cream divisions of Unilever in the UK and Greece. She has managed a 100 million Euro portfolio of brands, led numerous regional and domestic innovation projects and successfully launched more than 50 new products in domestic (UK, Greece and Cyprus) and regional markets (Western Europe). She was awarded the Best Product Launch in the Greek market by the Greek Retailers Association.

She is a member of the European Marketing Academy, the Organizing and Evaluation Committee of the Hellenic Marketing Excellence Awards and the Hellenic Institute of Marketing.
