Despina Makri

Despina Makri started working for the American College of Greece upon her graduation from Deree since 1994 as a coordinator of computer training and educational applications as well as a computer lab instructor.
She has been a member of the Deree faculty since 1998 and she has taught many courses across the curriculum. She currently teaches introductory computer courses, business information systems and e-commerce for the Computer Information Systems department, digital media and game design courses for the Information Technology department as well as multimedia concepts for the Communication’s department. Currently, she is the department head for Information Technology department. Her research interests are in the areas of digital media, game design and digital humanities.
