Dr. Visvizi is a political scientist and economist, editor, and research consultant with extensive experience in academia and the think-tank sector in Europe and the U.S. Her expertise covers issues pertinent to the intersection of politics, economics and ICT. The geographical focus of her research is directed at the European Union, Central Europe and the Belt and Road Initiative. Dr. Visvizi presented her work across Europe and the U.S., including on Capitol Hill. Her work was published in a number of prestigious journals. She authored/co-edited several books with such publishing houses as Routledge, Emerald Publishing, Springer and other. At Deree – The American College of Greece, Dr. Visvizi has taught across the curriculum.
