In honor of the UN International Day of People with Disability, the American College of Greece presents an event (lecture and panel discussion) organized by Eleftheria Bernidaki-Aldous, PhD, Professor of Classics, Senior Advisor of Diversity and Equal Opportunity at ACG and former member of the Hellenic Parliament where she served as Chair of the Committee on issues of disability.

This event will shed light on developments in Greece and the EU regarding accessibility of people with disability to all aspects of life (e.g., health, education, employment); monitoring the application of the legislation which derives from the UNCRPD (United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disability) during the time of economic crisis.
