ALS Worldwide Co-Executive Director Stephen Byer and Director of Outreach Sarah Byer will be holding an "ALS Worldwide Town Hall" meeting in the Pierce Theater at The American College of Greece on November 16, 18:00. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the free personalized counseling and care ALS Worldwide provides and the cutting-edge research they support. In addition, you will be able to ask any questions about ALS/MND, current research, medical devices, medications for symptom relief, counseling, and all other topics you may want to discuss.

ALS Worldwide will be joined by Dr. Achilleas Gravanis from the University of Crete, who will present on MicroNeurotrophins, a highly promising ALS drug developed at his laboratory. Dr. Ray Onders of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, USA will also present on his renowned invention, the diaphragm pacing system for respiratory stability now available in Greece. Dr. George Patrinos of University of Patras will present on his profound studies of the impact of genetics on ALS, particularly in Greek patients.

This community-building and educational event will also enable you to meet with other ALS/MND patients and their families and participate in a Q&A session with all of the presenters.
