Deree College - About - The Aghia Paraskevi CampusThe 65-acre Aghia Paraskevi campus, some 10 kilometers from the center of Athens, is situated on the western slopes of Mt. Hymettus. Classrooms open out onto airy courtyards edged with greenery. Classes are offered in the morning and afternoon, and during evening hours. The College has modern libraries with nearly 80,000 volumes, and its library expansion program has tripled user space to nearly 600 seats (including carrels for study, audiovisual materials and computer network reading) and will build a collection of 250,000 volumes. It has one of the finest athletic centers in Greece, including a chapel, a new gymnasium, outdoor facilities for tennis, soccer, track, basketball, and an Olympic-size heated swimming pool. The campus hosts Pierce College, a Greek-speaking gymnasium-lyceum, and Deree College, the undergraduate division of The American College of Greece, which is an American liberal arts college in Athens, Greece, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
