DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS

The American College of Greece is proud to announce an updated development program that introduces new concepts and methods, applies new technologies, and provides extracurricular services and facilities, bringing its students closer to recent developments in education.

Office of Development

Since 1988, The American College of Greece has launched a systematic campaign to generate funds for its multifaceted development program. As a not-for-profit educational institution it depends on the generosity of its alumni, parents and friends to help materialize its ambitious projects and support its academic programs.

The College has grown tremendously in recent years. Our quest for academic excellence and state-of-the-art facilities will continue into the new millennium. We can all take pride in knowing that our gifts have helped maintain the College as a place where people of all ages can learn, create, and achieve their professional and academic goals.

The College is pleased to announce an updated development program. The program inaugurates innovative learning concepts and methods, applies new technologies, and provides extracurricular services and facilities that will bring its students closer to recent trends in higher education. To keep you better informed the description of some projects follows:

The American College of Greece Annual Fund Appeal is aimed at continuing support for the school's human resources and its various programs and development projects. The appeal is addressed to all members of the College community: parents of students, alumni, faculty and staff, and donors.

Whether you choose to support the new Chapel, the new School of Communications, the Library, the Book Drive, or the Scholarship Fund, your gift will benefit present and future generations of students of Deree, Pierce and The Junior Colleges by providing them with an affordable, quality, fully accredited, American-style education for the new millennium.

The College wishes to acknowledge the philanthropy of the United States Agency for International Development (Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad), whose past and current support has been central to the success and sustainability of our institution.
