The American College of Greece - Alumni - ActivitiesThe Office of Alumni RelationsThe Office of Alumni Relations of the College seeks to cultivate and enhance communication between the College and its 28,000 alumni. The office organizes frequent social and professional gatherings so that alumni can reunite. These include homecoming receptions, dinner dances, panel discussions, lectures and other special events designed to enable fellow graduates to explore issues of common interest in a relaxed setting. ActivitiesACG alumni are engaged in a broad range of activities throughout the year. Alumni reunions:Reunions are an expression of the College's desire to periodically bring alumni together in order to maintain ties with old friends and to keep in touch with developments at the College. Alumni networks:Networks seek to provide seniors and alumni with information about career choices through meetings with Deree College alumni and market professionals who are willing to discuss their experiences and careers. Our most active networks are Crete, Cyprus and the United States. Deree Alumni Representatives:It is common practice for colleges and universities to have select alumni representatives who give up-to-date information about their alma mater to prospective students. Additionally, these representatives serve as an extension of the Admissions Office by interviewing and helping to evaluate applicants who cannot visit the campus. Upcoming EventsAll events will be announced well in advance in the Events and News sections of the web site. PublicationsThe ACG Magazine is distributed to 28,000 members of the College community, including alumni, faculty, staff, parents, donors and friends. |
